Camp Okuti reopened in December 2007 following a complete re-build
Camp Okuti is located in the Moremi Game Reserve in the northeastern part of the Okavango Delta, positioned under shade trees at the edge of the Xakanaxa lagoon. This ecosystem comprises shallow flood plains and papyrus lined waterways contrasting with dense riverine forest.
It is a small and private camp catering for a maximum of 18 guests, accommodated in insect-proofed chalets with en suite bathrooms. Each chalet faces west and overlooks one of the Delta’s most spectacular lagoons with stunning African sunsets.
The staff and managers will take every care to ensure that all your needs and requirements are met during your stay.

Camp Okuti offers a choice of two game viewing activities. Game drives in open safari vehicles where an abundance of large mammals can be found or powerboat excursions towards the upper delta, where, during breeding season, large concentrations of herons and storks may be seen at their nesting and breeding sites.

» Completely open seating areas and cabs for unhindered photography
» Seat pockets, reference books, snacks, bottled water, toilet paper and insect spray
» Cool box for refreshments
- Game viewing in Power Boats
- Extended late afternoon Game drives for viewing after dark
- Power boating and sunset rides
- Boat trips to Gadikwe Island roost (approximately one hour away)
- Fishing for tiger fish, bream, catfish, pike, and silver catfish with spinning lures.
