Xudum Delta Lodge is set on the banks of a lagoon on a permanent channel of the Okavango Delta, and is in a private concession, allowing for privacy and exclusivity.
The main lodge area enjoys sweeping views of the lagoon. There is an intimate lounge with a games and reading area. Dining is alfresco, although you can choose to have your meal in the privacy of your tented suite.
Activities are varied, and allow for comprehensive game viewing. You can enjoy morning and afternoon game drives - which extend into the evening (many nocturnally active species). There guided bush walks - a great way to see the area, and learn about the environment.
In addition there are mokoro (traditional dug-outs) excursions - surely the most tranquil way to enjoy the delta. There are also boat excursions. Birding is also excellent, and species include the rare Pel's fishing owl, and the majestic fish eagle. Xaranna is that rare combination that allows for water and land based activities.
